Who holds the rules.

  1. 1 · Mandate

The steward exists for one purpose: to keep this standard independent, sound, and open.

  2. 2 · Ownership

The steward owns the Standard. Platforms that apply it, including lifebench.ai, do so under licence and hold no power over its rules.

  3. 3 · Independence

No party the Standard measures may own it, control the steward, or alter the rules. The board keeps an independent majority; no single party holds control.

  4. 4 · Validity

Methods are published openly and tested against pre-registered pass marks. Failures are published with the successes.

  5. 5 · Due process

Rule changes pass through public drafts and comment before release. The change history is permanent.

  6. 6 · Continuity

The Standard is built to outlive any company, product, or founder — including the platform that created it.

The charter is published in draft for adoption. The steward's legal form is being constituted; until it is, this page is the public commitment it will fulfil, and comment on the draft is open to anyone.
